I didn't just make a deal with the devil...I sold my soul to FOUR of them.
Who knew within days of arriving at Saint Amos I'd land myself on the Brotherhood's radar?
Possibly not even the Universe herself. (Of course she's female - I've never met a man as ruthless as her)
The Brotherhood tried to get rid of me. It didn't work.
They tried to get me on their side. I demanded proof.
I should be long gone. Instead, I can't seem to get enough of their black hearts and dark psyches.
Now I have to prove them wrong.
Settle their fractured souls.
And maybe help them find their way back to the light.
They seem convinced I'll be the one who'll follow them...
Straight into the depths of Hell.
An #uncoventional love story with a #whychoose twist
No cheating. HEA guaranteed.

Book #2 in the Sinners of Saint Amos series. This cannot be read as a standalone, and it has a huge cliffhanger at the end.
Contains strong language, violence, and sexual situations some may find triggering.
When we’re done with her, she’ll be as broken as we are. Useless.
This is dark, this is intense, this is gritty, scary at times, painful at others.
This series has the power to be a huge cathartic experience if you are not afraid of pain. It exposes all your fears from the safety of your own home. It brings out things that most of us have never experienced, but have always wondered: Is this possible? How far a “rational animal” is capable of going when given no other choice?
Yeah, I know… where is the romance in all that? Human nature is fickle and there is not set of rules for love. It can came out of the most unexpected places and will shine through from anywhere, even from almost extinguished ember.
All I can say here, there is a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. It has been promised by the author from the beginning.
Reading this series it may hurt and angered for a while, but I believe it can also become one of the best “doors”for emotional release.
Painful, taboo love!!!
33/35 STARS – 4.5 STARS (between 31.5 stars and 33 stars)
Addictiveness: 5 Character: 5 Cover: 4.5 Freshness: 5 Plot: 4.5 Romance: 4 Writing Style: 5
Action 2/5 Angst 5/5 Darkness 5/5 Humor 0/5 Romance 4/5 Suspense/Mystery 4/5
Would I recommend? Yes, for all dark romance lovers!!!
Would I re-read this book/series? Yes!
Would I read more from the author? Definitely!!!
Addictiveness: 5/5 I’ve been hooked on this story from the first page of the first book. Most of the time I feel like a derailed train, but I also can’t stop thinking about it. I need the third book so much! As addictive as chocolate!!!
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 Very complex characters that keep growing and showing more layers as the story progress.
Trinity is a great heroine. She is very naive, have been raised by religious, strict parents. At the same time, Trinity is very strong. She is lost, life has dealt her some heavy blows, but she keep going and trying to evolve. She is attracted by all the boys in different ways, even though she is also ashamed of her thoughts and feelings. She thinks she could love Reuben, she finds Apollo attractive, she has love/hate feeling for Cassius and she has a fearful magnetic attraction to Zachary. I believe Zach exposes too much of her hidden, forbidden feelings. I think Trinity is like a prism, she has solid base with several congruent shapes inside, that can be used to disperse light.
Zach/Apollo/Cassius/Reuben: I feel like they are a unit and together they form the hero. In the case here, they are really anti-heroes. They are victims of abuse and lots of horrible things. They have been broken and have tried to mend themselves. They sort of glued each other and together they form this puzzle. Their purpose in life is to make their abusers pay. They don’t think they can be redeemable or saved, they only want revenge. They are multidimensional and very intense. They are not easy to love, but with each chapter they grow into you. They are far from perfect, they are almost psychotic, but their story arch is very well explained and we feel for them. They are the type of characters that I love to hate, but I always ended up loving anyways. 🙂
Secondary characters There are some good, multifaceted secondary characters here. Some of their story arch enhance the main characters arch as well.
Villain/antagonists There is definitely a few villains here. One almost clear, but not yet revealed. Most characters have antagonistic traits in this series.
Even though they were all multidimensional and not easy to love, they are all easy to connect and understand!!
Cover: art 4.5/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, subtitle 1/5, background 4/5 buy 5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. I really liked this series art. I can totally see Trinity in this girl and I love the sparkling tears. The use of colors was really spot on and the title is so catchy that it speaks for it self. I only miss a subtitle! I would easily buy this book by its cover without reading the blurb!
Freshness: 5/5 One-of-a-kind! Yes, this is contemporary romance, another bully romance in the midst of the several out there… but it feels fresh, unique. The plot twists and turns keep you on the edge of the unknown. It is weirdly addictive and it feels completely original. As fresh as water in the middle of the desert during summer!
Plot: believable 4.5/5, conflict 5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 4/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 5/5, twists 5/5 Great opening with cliffhanger at the end. Extremely believable plot, with fantastic dialogues and wonderful pace. Lovable setting, interesting subplots with unexpected twists. High level of enjoyment!
This plot is intense. It breaks and mends. It hurts and heals. It has a duality that makes it poignant and it takes the reader into a journey of the unknown.
Romance: 4/5 There is lots of hate. As everybody likes to say, hate is closer to love than any other feeling. It feels like it is a bridge for love, but it is not love yet. This will never be calm, sweet love. More like obsessive, mania kind of it. Cruel love!!!
Writing Style: 5/5 Logan Fox knows how to twist my insides, elate and enrage my personality. What more could I want from a writer that makes me feel so much? But this book also has an amazing world built, multidimensional characters, a plot that keeps the reader on their toes, a romance that hurts so good, all tied in a clean, cohesive story. Writing of a wordsmith!
Because I try to be very analytical and I don’t really believe in perfection…
Plot: Yes, I totally understand cliffhangers, I read too many books with them and I even think it can enhance the reading experience. I still don’t like them 🙂 and I can’t give five star for a story that hasn’t been finished yet.
The men down there in the back of that library? They are mentally unstable. I’d be too if I’d suffered like they had. I don’t blame them for that. But they need help.
