It was Teyana’s idea to crash the Sebastian’s party. Once in a lifetime, and all that.

Which was why I snuck in, even after she got sick and bailed, though it isn’t really fun without her.

Until I end up on the rooftop with the most stupid-hot guy on the planet, and when he offers to take me home, I can't imagine telling Teyana I turned him down.

So I'll be Cinderella for the party, and a very wicked girl in the bedroom.

After that, I’ll disappear in the daylight, without even an exchange of names. I don’t belong in his world. One night is all we’ll get.

Unless, of course, fate has other plans...

Man on Top is the beginning of the Man in Charge Duet. It is also included in Man in Charge.

Contemporary Romance

First Person, female-POV

This is the prequel of the Man In Charge duet and it does end in a cliffhanger.

Enticing!!! This was a great beginning of a story… It kept me guessing and now I’ve finished wanting more.

Sexy romance!!!

29.5/35 STARS –  4 STARS (between 28 stars and 31 stars)

Addictiveness: 5 Character: 4 Cover: 4 Freshness: 3.5 Plot: 4 Romance: 4 Writing Style: 5

Action 1/5 Angst 2/5 Darkness 0/5 Humor 3/5 Romance 5/5 Suspense/Mystery 0/5

Would I recommend? Yes, for all readers looking for a promising sexy romance!

Would I re-read this book/series? Yes!

Would I read more from the author? Definitely!!!

Addictiveness: 5/5 This was an easy read, with perfect pace and a plot good enough to get me curious and wanting more. As addictive as chocolate!!!

Character: hero 4/5, heroine 4/5, secondary characters 4/5, growth 3/5, real 4/5 All characters seemed interesting and someone I would like to learn more about.

Tess is a promising heroine. She seemed like a good friend, hardworking and fun.

Scott feels like is going to be a great hero. He was hot, wild and a bit entitled.

Both main characters were easy to relate.

Secondary characters I’ve already seen a few that I would love to know more.

Villain/antagonists to early to find one, but maybe Tess’s boss will be an antagonist.

They were all easy to love, to connect and understand!!!

Cover: art 4/5, title 5/5, color-font 4/5, subtitle 4/5, background 2/5 buy 4/5  I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. This one is good, but generic. I missed more personal details. I would probably buy this book by its cover but would need to read the blurb.

Plot: believable 4/5, conflict 4/5, dialogue 4/5, ending 4/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 4/5, twists 4/5  Amazing opening with a cliffhanger at the end. Interesting plot, with well written dialogues and intense pace. Good setting, a couple of promising subplots with an expected twist at the end.. High level of enjoyment!

Romance: believable 4/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 4/5, steam 4/5  I don’t think we can call a romance yet, but there was chemistry and steamy scenes. Fun, sexy love story!!!

Writing Style: 5/5 Good plot concept, great characters, sexy love story with some good smut. The story was short, but it felt cohesive and it ended with an encouraging vibe. Work of a wordsmith!!!

Because I try to be very analytical and I don’t really believe in perfection…

Freshness: 3.5/5 That was nothing here that felt original, unique, but this was also just a prequel and it was very well written. As fresh as lemonade during summer.

You MAY read this because you follow the author; you SHOULD read this because you like contemporary billionaire romance; you MUST read this because it feels like an up-and-coming great series!!
