I had the life most guys only dreamed about: the house, the parties, the girls... until one girl showed up and ruined it all.
She doesn’t belong here. Not in the bedroom across the hall. Not in my house. Not in my town. And certainly not in my life.
It wasn’t really her fault... or mine.
We were caught up in the sins of our parents.
She thinks she’s strong, but she doesn’t have a clue as to what I’m capable of.
My name is SAVAGE after all.
I will break her...
But uncovering her secrets just might destroy me.

This is Rosewood High book #3 and I wouldn’t recommend it to be read as a stand-alone. Even though the couple’s story begun and ended on this book, Ethan is part of the group from the beginning and I think reading the series in order has definitely enhanced his journey.
I love this series and these bad boys. They are bad, but not too much. This has light bullying and a couple serious topics that maybe triggering for some readers.
Like in the previous books, the hero was part of the jerk club and his reason for bullying the heroine was twisted and crazy.
Even though this was not my favorite couple of the three, I loved Camila and Mason too much, they were both wonderful characters.
Now, I can’t believe what the author did at the end when hinting on a fourth book! How will she make me like her? If I was to take I wild guess, I would say the hero might be Shane. Even though I wanted him with Alyssa, maybe. 🙂

Would I recommend? Yes, if you like new adult romance with a dash of spice.
Would I re-read this book/series? Yes, I think so.
Would I read more from the author? I’m looking forward to reading more from her.
I can’t let the lines blur. She’s my plaything. My rag doll to tempt and tease when I so desire.

Addictiveness: 4/5 This is an easy series to read. It is fast-paced with hot romance and characters that are addictive and feels like good friends. As addictive as pizza!!!
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 Multidimensional characters with lots of depth and very well written background stories.
Raelynn was a strong female character. She has had a tough road in the past and the huddles she has gone through have made her good at hiding her weakness. She never allowed Ethan to step over her, always giving him back for all the bullying. I liked how she grew in the story learning how to trust others and making some girl friends.
Ethan was a good hero. Yes, like his friends, he was a bit of a jerk. He was one of the big stars of the football team, had girls hanging over him all the time, he was really full of himself. But he was also fun, a good, unexpected, friend and after his too-stupid-to-live-moment, he was a really cool guy. Oh, let’s not forget that Ethan was HOT! I gave him a break because his parents didn’t win the award for best parents of the year.
Secondary characters I like how the author writes strong characters with depth and flaws. We really learn about them and to understand them.
Villain/antagonists … the are no real villains here, but I would say the parents were the problem. I have to mention that Raelynn’s mom and Ethan’s both parents were not really good ones. (I’m sorry, some will say Ethan’s mom was a victim here, but doesn’t matter what happened in my marriage I wouldn’t move away and leave my son behind because I had ended a bad marriage. Girlfriend should have wear her big girl’s panty and support her son in such a huge moment of their lives).
All characters so easy to love, connect and understand!!!
Cover: art 4/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, buy 5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I like this one. I like the school name, mascot and logo on the back. The background that looks like lockers of a high school and the guy is hot. I also love the title and colors used. I do have to say I was a bit off by his necklace and I think he looked a bit older than a high schooler. I would easily buy this book by its cover without needing to read the blurb!!!
Freshness: 4/5 This book has all the clichés that most high school bully romances have. At the same time, it feels original with all the twists the author has added to their background. As fresh as mint tea!!!
Plot: believable 5/5, conflict 4/5, dialogue 4/5, ending 5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 4/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 4/5, twists 5/5 Great opening and exciting ending. Believable plot, with hot dialogues and great pace. Adorable setting, interesting subplots with unexpected twists. High level of enjoyment!
I loved this setting and their group of misfits. They all looked like perfect from the outside, but had hidden sorrows and pains. They have found in friendship the strongest bond someone could have, sometimes much stronger than blood.
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 5/5, steam 5/5 Wow wow wow! Really hot!!! This teens can really heat up a room. They learned very young how to do it right. The couple’s chemistry was explosive from the beginning and their romance was cute and passionate. Sexy romance!!!
Writing Style: 4.5/5 Amazing characters, intriguing plot, steamy romance, cohesive writing and wonderfully written dialogues. Very well written!!!
Because I try to be very analytical and I don’t really believe in perfection…
I think I had a harder time connecting with Rae because I hadn’t seen here before in the series. So I may have been unfair about comparing how easily I connected with Amalie and Camila than her.
Also, I think the hate may have stopped too early.
