There’s bad, and inappropriate, and scandalous, and wrong.
And then there’s giving your virginity to your gorgeous and dominant high school government Professor, on his desk, five minutes after you turn eighteen.
Oh I’ve been a bad, bad girl…
Winchester Academy is home to a lot of things – the spoiled rich kids of the world’s elite, ivy-covered walls, typical high school drama and angst, and him – Professor Oliver Bard. Dominant, alpha, and completely freaking gorgeous.
I know he looks at me, even if he sees me as forbidden fruit—tempting, off-limits jailbait. But I’ve been obsessed with him for way, way too long, which is why I purposefully got myself thrown into his infamous “midnight detention” on the eve of my eighteenth birthday.
Just the two of us, alone, watching the clock tick down.
Yesterday, this would be illegal. Today, it’s just plain wrong. Wrong, sick, morally reprehensible, and achingly hot.
This could ruin him, and put a scarlet letter on my back. But once I feel those big hands on me, and once I get a taste of his perfect, forbidden mouth, and once he shows me things I’ve only ever dreamed about while imagining him, I know there’s no going back.
I know I should say no, but that’s a little hard to do when his mouth and hands and…well, other things are only making me scream “yes, professor”…

I saw a powerful, dominant, older man, and every fucking cell in my body said, “Him. It’s going to be him.”
Addictiveness: 4/5 It was a fun sexy ride! It was fast-paced with lot of steamy good scenes. Easy, fun read!
Character: hero 4/5, heroine 4/5, secondary characters 4/5, growth 3/5, real 2.5/5 Both main characters are interesting and fun. A few secondary characters that I can see being part of another book in the series.
This is insta-love and all about the plot, not much character development. But the characters are easy to love and understand. 🙂
Cover: art 4/5, title 5/5, color-font 4/5, buy 5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. This art has definitely been made to fit this book. I can see the the theme: the tattoo professor inside the classroom. The woman on the art looks a bit too old to be a 17 year old girl, but her atire is spot on as a private high school uniform. I love the title and the color font works with the image of the classroom. I can totally see the taboo on the cover and the title is very catching. I would easily buy this book by its cover, without needing to read the blurb!
Freshness: It is unique! It is taboo, is not what is out there. The concept of the book and the series feels original. As fresh as mint tea!!!
Plot: believable 2/5, conflict 5/5, dialogue 4/5, ending 4/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 2/5, twists 4/5 Great opening and cute ending. It is a hard to believe plot with well written dialogues. A fast-paced, steamy read that hooked the reader from the beginning. Loved the setting and I wasn’t expecting the twist.
This is a erotic tale with a good fun concept. It is short and straight-to-the-point.
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 4/5, steam 5/5 This is insta-love. It is fast and wild. The chemistry between the couple is explosive and there ar a lot of drool-worthy scenes. The author wrote some very hot descriptive scenes. The romance arch is very fast, but it works within the plot.
Writing Style: I’ve read a few other books from the author. This was definitely my favorite. I’ve enjoyed the idea behind the series and Ms. Faye delivered exactly what she promised. Yes, a very hot ride! Fun plot, with likable characters and a feeling of wanting more at the end.
Character: As a character reader, I love to connect with them. In a short fun story like this, usually it misses the backbone of a multi-dimensional character. They were fun, but shallow.
Plot: I was not expecting believability by a short erotic story, so it doesn’t really bother me. I knew what I chose to read and I enjoy these steamy tales from time to time. But I do have to mention that is a very hard to believe plot.
This is a promising erotic romance series.
This is a very fast read that keeps the reader smiling and squirming. 🙂
Looking forward for the next book!
Straight-A student, varsity cheerleader, pigtailed little innocent school girl… and a naughty little brat underneath it all.
