Besides, it’s a hymen, not a retirement fund. Most people don’t save it for a rainy day.

Addictiveness: 4/5 Very addictive! It was unique experience. It got me hooked and kept me guessing.

Character: hero 4/5, heroine 4/5, secondary characters 4/5, growth 4/5, real 2/5 There are four main characters: two heroes and two heroines. I think some characters were more complex than others. But overall, they were all easy to like, connect and understand. If I had to pick my favorite, I would say Jacob, the hero of the second novella.

About the secondary characters, some were just forgotten along the way, that didn’t really made sense to me. <spoiler>like the grandfather</spoiler>

Freshness:  This book is unique! Really, I have never read a duet like this before. I have truly enjoyed how the characters were presented and how both stories are intertwined.

Plot: believable 2.5/5, conflict 3/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 3.5/5, enjoyment 3.5/5, opening 4/5, pace 4/5, setting 3/5, subplots 2/5, twists 4/5  Good opening and interesting ending.  The conflict was a bit weak but the dialogues are very well written. Because they are both novellas, as usual, the plot was a bit rushed at some parts. The author is very creative and gave some intriguing twists. I wasn’t expecting a few of them. The plot was confusing in a few parts of the book.

Romance: believable 4/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 3/5, steam 5/5  This was HOT HOT HOT! Really, both couples were very believable and hot for each other. It is steamy, out of the box, it has amazing descriptive scenes, really WOW!!!

Writing Style: This was my first book by the author and I have really enjoyed her writing style. It felt one-of-a-kind type of story. The author’s writing was creative and the romance was amazing. I really look forward to read more from her.

But my heart was getting stuck between the rock and the hard place.

Cover: art 3.5/5, title 5/5, color-font 4/5, buy 3.5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. This art, even though beautiful with good color scheme, it doesn’t give me anything of the story. Maybe we could say it’s Jacob, but it doesn’t make sense for me to have Jacob and not the other characters. I love the title and how it was used inside the story.

Plot: It was a good plot but had a few problems. It felt rushed in a few points and some characters had more depth than others.

I had never read a duet like this before. The way the characters were built was interesting and it felt new.

I believe this story had room to become one full novel and some of the issues would be resolved since some parts felt rushed and a few characters got lost in the book.

29/35 STARS –  4 STARS (between 28 stars and 31 stars)

Addictiveness: 4 Character: 4 Cover: 3.5  Freshness: 5  Plot: 3.5 Romance: 5 Writing Style: 4

Action 3/5

Angst 2.5/5

Suspense/Mystery 2.5/5

Would I recommend? Yes. Is refreshing and a must read if you enjoy smut.

Would I re-read this book? Probably.

Would I read more from the author? I’m really looking forward to it.

You may read this because you like the author; you SHOULD read this because you are looking for something unique; you MUST read this for some really amazing smut!!!
