The hunt for the past will set their future…

Alasdair Morgan, vampire lord of the south Atlantic region of the United States, and his mate, Gideon, are on the search for an ancient journal. The secrets the book holds within its leather binding can be used to destroy their race’s queen, Lilith. When they finally find the journal, they discover it has been sold to an antique store. However, a female with her own agenda has her sights set on possessing the book.

Some gifts come in twos…

Being a half-breed living among humans, Rhianna Howell knows the importance of secrecy all too well. When she discovers one of the lost vampire artifacts, she doesn’t waste time in collecting it before it falls into the wrong hands. But keeping the journal safe from evil will put her in the seductive path of two vampires who claim to be her mates.

The days and nights heat up this Christmas as she discovers a fiery passion she can’t deny or run from.

Fan favorite author, Lia Davis, introduces us to a new paranormal romance series with IT’S A VAMPIRE CHRISTMAS, book 1 in the Vampire Lords series.

Can Rhianna keep more than just the book, holding secrets that can end an entire race, safe; or will she lose her heart to not one, but two, vampires intent on winning not only the book, but her heart?

Rhianna Howell protects  ancient artifacts  from falling into the wrong hands. When she finds a diary at one of her excursion through a antique store she doesn’t imagine this would bring the enemy and two hot vampires that claim they are her mate. Not ready to mate, but curious enough to learn the truth, she agrees to give them some time to prove to her their claim. Can fate play a role on someone that is not a vampire? Should she care about their fate, if it doesn’t affect her?

Alasdair Morgan and his mate Gideon are searching for a few things: an ancient journal, a cure for a disease and a mate. When a trip to New York to claim one, tempt them with all three things they search, they know they are ready for the take. What they were not expecting was a closer encounter with their race enemy. Will love save them all? Or will fate be so cruel to take it all now, when they finally found what they were looking for?

It’s a Vampire Christmas is a promising beginning of a new series. The book has a good concept, but not enough pages to have it fully developed. The plot is solid, characters are interesting and the heat is high.

Personally, I was a bit disappointed by it’s climax. I know, this is a short story, but I was thirsty for blood. Of course, it would make no sense for the antagonist be caught now at the beginning of a series, but I wanted at least to feel the beginning of a war. What the book offers is a path to a future war-to-come.

Ms. Davis once again intrigue her readers with a good series to follow, and I’m really looking forward to read more of this vamp-gargoyle-witch-world!

You may read this book because you are a fan of Ms. Davis; you should read this book if you like ménage stories; but you MUST read this, if you are looking for a brand new Urban Fantasy series with mixed-pnr and a creative world!
