Wow! This was so different! I’m not even sure how to review this!
First, I’ve enjoyed all four versions of A Soldier’s Seduction! It was exactly what I was expecting, a short-sexy-read! I was not disappointed on any of the versions that I’ve read, but I find it interesting that maybe my favorite version, was not my first option.
On my first read I’ve chosen: The kinky seductress and a night at the Erogenous Zone + Leave the platform and let Liam show me the club his way.
I guess it speaks of my liking of BDSM reads and the “kinkier-the-better” philosophy for my books. It was fun! I’ve enjoyed the club created for this book. In fact, I would love to read more about it! I like both characters, and I like how this turned out into a very light D/s scene.
Second read: The kinky seductress and a night at the Erogenous Zone + Stay on the platform and see what happens.
I still believed that I would enjoy the best the scenes at the club, so I went over to it’s second choice. It’s a great passionate scene! I love how it became a private booth in the middle of this sex club! Here, you have Gen taking charge of most of the scene, which is also nice. But I’ve liked the first one better!
Third time reading : The sexy girl-next-door and an intimate night in + Take Liam straight to my bedroom.
Yes, this was my favorite of them all. I’ve been trying to think why… I guess I missed the connection, or the familiarity or even a little more insight into their relationship prior this day. Here, we learn more about it. The scenes at the club are fun, and I can totally see it happening after this here, but I believe my romantic heart wants the kinky sex with the private intimate moment. It makes more meaningful for me.
I’ve enjoyed the little snippets of a future here, and I would gladly read a full book of this couple’s relationship and their exploration of the club lifestyle.
Fourth time reading: The sexy girl-next-door and an intimate night in + play with the melted chocolate.
Yes, this one was my second favorite! For the same reasons above I guess. I like the game with the fondue, and I’ve enjoyed the feelings flowing besides the sexual chemistry. I believe for such a moment, for a couple that have known each other forever, the intimate setting if preferable first and then the club scene.
I can see myself truly enjoying the SilkWords books in-between my reads. I believe this sort of book, short with different scenes options, would work better for me if it’s a sexy kinky read. When I read really short stories I want it to be a hot ride all the way.
A Soldier’s Seduction has kept me interesting and has me ending wanting more!
This was my first read of Ms. Evans, but it has made me curious enough to look for other works from her.
You may read this to try it once; you should read this, if you are looking for a fast sexy read; but you MUST read this if you would like to play with scenes and try to puzzle them out in what could be their better order for a book!
