USA Today bestselling author Renee Rose delivers on this intense bully romance with a paranormal twist.
SHE RUINED EVERYTHING... I WILL MAKE HER PAY.
Her mom robbed my dad of his job. Destroyed his life.
Now I have to look at her every day.
The girl next door. A human. A hot little nerd.
She doesn’t belong here—not in Wolf Ridge,
not at our high school, definitely not in my life.
She doesn’t know what I am.
Which makes it all the easier to take revenge.
I will bring her to her knees. Pierce her heart.
Make her bleed. For me.
All for me.
NOTE: This New Adult book features steamy scenes with characters over eighteen and is for an audience that is also over eighteen.

First book of the Wolf Ridge High series
The darkness is gone. I satisfy my need to punish you and you release your guilt. We fit. Maybe just for this moment in time, this one blip in our lives, we come together. We find absolution. In each other.
Addictiveness: 5/5 This was a fast-paced, squirm-in-the-chair, can’t-let-the-kindle-go type of book. Wow! I loved it! Couldn’t stop reading it! As addictive as chocolate and ice cream together!
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 Very complex characters with so much depth that was impossible not to love, connect and understand. So much anger and pain here, I felt for them, I hurt with them!
Cole was an amazing hero/antihero. I do love a bad boy! He had a lot of anger and was hurting a lot. He didn’t want to save her, he wanted to punished her. He wanted to own her, so he could destroy her. Amid all his anger, when the time came he showed his caring and loving. He was loyal to a fault, even though a jerk. He was so young, at the same time so mature. His personal growth was beautiful.
Bailey was a wonderful heroine. She was just trying to survive all the road blocks life has already given her. She was in pain, trying to rebuilt. Being the new kid is never easy, but she could never imagined that it would be so hard. She was in a sort of limbo and Cole helped bring out her warrior self.
Many interesting secondary characters, I would love to see Rayne flourishing.
These characters were best friends worthy!!!
Cover: art 5/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, buy 5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. This cover is great! The boy/man looks a bit angry, a bit dark, very fitting for Cole. I can see his gym bag on his shoulders and his hand closed in sort of a fist. I love the play with lights, with one side of his face in a semi-shadow and the other part highlighted. The colors and font worked perfectly. I love the black and white with only a dash of red. The title is very catching. It also hints that is a paranormal, shifter story with the little wolf and the word alpha as part of the title. I would easily buy this book by its cover, without needing to read the blurb!
Freshness: 5/5 This book is definitely one-of-a-kind!!! I have never read a teen shifter taking the first steps into his Dominant personality before. This felt so new and unique! I’m a fan of the author and I would never imagine her venturing into new adult territory (this is not a YA read even though they are in high school). As fresh as a cold bottle of water in the middle of the desert!
Plot: believable 5/5, conflict 5/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 5/5, twists 5/5 Amazing opening and superb ending. Completely believable plot with dialogues written by a wordsmith. A fast-paced tale filled with angst and some interesting subplots. I’ve loved the setting, I’ve enjoyed the twists and I’ve hurt with the conflict. Highest level of satisfaction!!!
Ms. Rose created a small town vibe to this paranormal world. It seemed so mundane, but in reality was the perfect background for a very convoluted plot. There were no loopholes and it was very clean written with no typo mistakes.
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 5/5, steam 5/5 It was kinky, unexpected, wild, hot and sweet. Together they were explosive, their chemistry was high and their intensity was over the roof. They broke and mended each other. The description was on-point and the development of the relationship grew in a perfect rhythm. It never felt rushed or unbelievable.
Writing Style: I’m a fan of Ms. Rose and her writing. But I had never imagined her writing New Adult and I was pleasantly blown away. This was so much more! Very intuitive and delicate even though it had her stamp of BDSM and Dominance/submissiveness. Splendid!!!
I know I don’t believe in perfection and I think there is always room for improvement; I usually like to pick into small details, so I can be through and help better others readers; but I’m completely out of ideas here.
I could maybe guess that the next book of this series will probably be Bo’s, and I just haven’t seen that much of him to be that interested. In fact, I’m greedy and would love more from Bailey and Cole. This is my ONE complain here. (It could all be in my head, because I don’t really know what is coming next)
Reading is not a formula and this one just made me feel! It gave me high school bully, but different; shifter romance, but distinct; D/s, but diverse. It was easy to connect with characters that in reality had nothing to do with me personally. I’ve ended the book invested in their future and hoping for more, lots more.
35/35 STARS – 5 STARS (between 33.5 stars and 35 stars)

Would I recommend? It is a must for everyone that loves paranormal and isn’t afraid of kinky!!!
Would I re-read this book/series? I’m certain I will every time a new book comes out and I have to embark into this journey again.
Would I read more from the author? One of my favorites!
She’s complex but clear. Broken but strong. So much more courageous than I’ll ever be.
I wanted to break her, but in the end, she broke me.
I think about Pink. What I know about her now. The scent of her tears. The taste of her skin. The way her ass feels in my hands.
She gave me her vulnerability yesterday.
Robbed me of mine.
I want to still hate her. Especially after what she witnessed in front of my house.
But I don’t.
We’re in this together now. We’ve shared each other’s nightmares.
And when I took from her, she gave.
Let me kiss those swollen lips. Let me dry fuck her against a wall.
I woke up this morning thinking I needed space. Get this human off my mind before she gets even further under my skin.
I planned on pretending she didn’t exist when I saw her today. Reasoned she probably needed the space, too.
But it didn’t last. The minute I saw her, I tumbled back to where we were last night, standing between our houses under the moon.
And now I’m already itchy for more.
I need to finish this thing I started with her.
I can’t stop until I fully own Bailey Sanchez. Until she’s given me every secret, every lie, every tear. I crave the moment I take everything from her.
Crave it like my next breath.
