THE BRITISH ARE COMING! THE BRITISH ARE COMING!
From New York Times best-selling author Ilsa Madden-Mills comes a new stand alone romance....

A scarred fighter.
A girl with rules.
One night of unbridled passion.

There are three things you need to know about Elizabeth Bennett: she’s smart as a whip, always in control, and lives by a set of carefully crafted rules. She’s learned the hard way that people you love the most always hurt you in the end. But then she meets Declan Blay, the new neighbor at her apartment complex.

A tattooed British street fighter, he’s the campus bad boy she’s supposed to avoid, but when he saves her from a frat party gone bad, all her rules about sex and love fly out the window. She gives him one night of unbridled passion, but he longs for more.

With only a cardboard-thin wall separating their bedrooms, he dreams of possessing the vulnerable girl next door forever.

One night. Two damaged hearts. The passion of a lifetime.
*A modern love story inspired by Pride and Prejudice*

Hot, fast-paced, addictive read!

Deeper, I sensed a kindred spirit in her, a loner who ached to find someone to love for real. by Declan

Declan is tall, dark and dangerous with a British accent. Yeah, dreamy! Since his mother death, he has never really found a deeper connection with anyone besides his twin. He has a troublesome relationship with his father, part because he cannot let go of his past, part because his father is not a very good one. One thing he knows for certain, he doesn’t want to live under his dad’ shadow, he want to pave his own way. He loves martial arts. It’s more than fights; but an outlet for his anger, the mastering of  his control, the feeling of holding his own destiny. One thing he doesn’t want right now is a relationship, specially a complicated one. So, what should he do with Elizabeth?

Elizabeth is smart, gorgeous and troubled. In the past, while trying to fit in, she has made some wrong choices and has ended up broken. Nowadays, she is just surviving. In a battle to become the sole “driver”of her destiny, she has turned into a mimic of her old self. Is she strong enough to fight for herself again? Could she let someone in?

Get away from the hotness and tell your ovaries to settle down. by Elizabeth

Dirty English is a love story! Not simple, easy love; but the kind that hurts and brings denial, anger and angst. The path to acceptance is rocky, but Ms. Madden-Mills, as in all her books, cohesively takes us readers into this road along with the characters. We can feel each and every emotion they feel. They are  so easy to love and to relate, that we end the story feeling like they are one of our friends. Ms. Madden-Mills characters feel real! They could be any of us.

The heat on this book is pretty good also. The author has some very steamy sexy scenes. They are not in the book just to add sex; they embellish the story and add another layer into the reality of the couple’s love for each other. Declan and Elizabeth together are combustible and we have no doubt about that!

You seem, well, fragile- and honestly, I like my girls and sex hard. by Declan

P.S: I love the whole package of a book. I’m known to buy a lot of my books only by its cover. It should tell me a story! Or at least offer me a glimpse of what I should expect. Looking at this cover I knew it would have a drooling alpha-male (my favorite kind) with a sexy British accent (I melt a bit with the way the British sounds). So, yeah.. I bought this book because it was from an author that I like, but mostly, the cover sold it to me!

You MAY buy this book because of the mouth-watering cover; you SHOULD get this book because you know Ms. Madden-Mills always writes a great story; but you MUST buy this book if you are ready to discover/rediscover love!!!   4

About Ilsa Madden-Mills

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Ilsa Madden-Mills writes about strong heroines and sexy alpha males that sometimes you just want to slap.

She’s addicted to dystopian books and all things fantasy, including unicorns and sword-wielding females. Other fascinations include frothy coffee beverages, dark chocolate, Instagram, Ian Somerhalder (seriously hot), astronomy (she’s a Gemini), Sephora make-up, and tattoos.

She has a degree in English and a Master’s in Education.

When she’s not pecking away on her computer, she shops for cool magnets, paints old furniture, and eats her weight in sushi.
